In their first match since firing Massimiliano Allegri post-Coppa Italia triumph, Juventus took the field under interim boss Paolo Montero, who opted not to start either of the two USMNT stars.
The Old Lady struggled from the opening whistle, as Riccardo Calafiori scored just two minutes in to seize the lead for the hosts. That lead was doubled in the 11th minute on a header from Santiago Castro, giving Juventus all the work to do just a few minutes into the match. Montero made a pair of halftime substitutions, including Weah, but it did little to stop Bologna, with Castro setting up Calariori in the 53rd minute to make it 3-0.
From there, it seemed there was no way back for Juve, but they fought back. Bologna handed Federico Chiesa a goal to make it 3-1 before substitute Arkadiusz Milik made it 3-2 with a free-kick goal in the 84th minute. Just one minute later, Kenan Yildiz scored the dramatic equalizer, earning Juve a split of the points behind a wild three-goal comeback.

Even with the draw, Juventus remain in fourth place, with Bologna just ahead in third place on goal difference. Juve had already booked their spot in next season's Champions League, with the final weeks of the season essentially just for pride as the club looks to seal a positive Serie A finish.
As things stand, Juve is just two points ahead of Atalanta in fifth. However, a fifth-place finish in Serie A will still be good enough to book a Champions League spot after Serie A earned an additional Champions League spot due to coefficient points.

Both Weah and Weston McKennie began the match on the bench, and McKennie remained there throughout. Montero went with Adrian Rabiot, Manuel Locatelli and Fabio Miretti as his three-man midfield before turning to Carlos Alcaraz and Nicolo Fagioli as his midfield subs.
Weah, meanwhile, replaced Esteban Cambiaso at halftime, coming on as Juve's right wingback. Weah wasn't a key contributor to any of the Juve goals, although he did have a few good moments on the ball as Montero's substitutions helped key the Juve comeback.
