Ferdinand allegedly racially abused by TerryChelsea defender says Rio Ferdinand still holds a grudgeAnton asked Terry to appear on documentary but he declinedWHAT HAPPENED?
Terry spoke on Simon Jordan's podcast last week and he claimed that he had been blanked by Anton's brother Rio while on holiday in Dubai, in reference to the alleged racial abuse that Ferdinand suffered at Queens Park Rangers. Terry was accused of abusing the defender, and he was charged over the incident, although he was cleared in court. The Football Association still handed him a four-game ban and a £220,000 ($275,000) fine.

Terry also claimed that he attempted to reach out to the Ferdinand family the night after the clash between Chelsea and QPR but he was shut down, to his "disappointment". Now, Anton has claimed that he actually invited the ex-England captain onto his BBC documentary 'Football, Racism and Me', in order to have a conversation, but Terry declined, though he remains keen to speak with the Blues legend live and on the record.
WHAT ANTON FERDINAND SAID
Speaking on , Ferdinand said: "As you know, I've done a documentary for the BBC, which stated all the facts, which he actually declined coming on. I wanted him on there to create positive change. I've seen what he's had to say on Simon Jordan's podcast so my thing is this: If you really want to make positive change I'll sit down with you, with live cameras rolling so there's nowhere for us to hide. We'll look at the actual footage, unblurred, and we'll start from there. If you don't want to talk about it like that, as far as I'm concerned, the case is closed."

It remains to be seen if Terry will be willing to take up Ferdinand's offer and hold a live conversation. In the meantime, the former will likely be keeping a close eye on Chelsea ahead of this week's London derby against Tottenham.
